Aon Israel announced today (Tuesday) the acquisition of Atlas Insurance Agency’s operations. Atlas is one of Israel’s longest-standing insurance agencies, with nearly 50 years of experience in marine insurance.

According to the company, this acquisition is a strategic move by Aon Israel to strengthen its foothold in the cargo insurance market, which the company has identified as a strategic priority, while also enhancing its expertise in this niche field.

The company stated that this acquisition is a key milestone in Aon Israel’s long-term strategy, enabling deeper specialization, an expanded customer base, and the provision of innovative solutions with a broader service offering, all while maintaining a high level of service.

Yasmin Koren, CEO of Aon Israel, commented:”The acquisition is a significant step that reinforces our position as a leader in Israel’s insurance market. The combined knowledge and experience of both companies will allow us to continue offering groundbreaking services in marine insurance while providing more precise solutions tailored to the needs of our clients and partners. We see this move as a strategic growth engine that will strengthen our capabilities, allow us to expand into new markets, and enhance the quality of our services.”

The company also noted that this move is part of the “Aon 2025” initiative, under which Aon Israel is doubling its business activity in the country. This initiative is supported by Aon’s global leadership. Koren will continue working to expand the company’s presence in Israel, enter new fields in response to evolving market needs, and develop innovative solutions for organizations exposed to emerging risks such as artificial intelligence, geopolitical changes, and more.
