    Supreme Court Expands the Scope of Section 66 to Include Coverage for the Opposing Party’s Costs /Anton Sudach

    The Supreme Court ruled that costs should be apportioned proportionally: the insurer will bear part of the costs based on the ratio between the sum insured and the total compensation, and the insured will bear the remainder * For example, if the liability limit is 300,000 shekels and the awarded compensation is 1 million shekels, the insurer will cover only 30% of the legal costs, even if these include the opposing party’s expenses
